The Blasters self-described “American Music” is a blend of rockabilly, early rock and roll, punk rock, mountain music, and rhythm and blues. The band exemplifies the best traditions of American Music, performing with passion and honesty that for over three decades has won the hearts and souls of fans worldwide. Composed of founding members vocalist-guitarist Phil Alvin, drummer Bill Bateman and bassist John Bazz with Keith Wyatt on guitar, they carry on a hard-won legacy as one of the most recognizable and credible bands in American Music.

Their influences range from the likes of George Jones and Carl Perkins to Ike Turner, Howlin’ Wolf, James Brown and Big Joe Turner, all blending into a sound that ignores the lines between Rock & Roll, Country, Blues and Rockabilly. Earlier this year, the Blasters toured Europe and are now appearing throughout the US through December.  Blasters shows have been described as “a cross between Creedence and the Clash,” with a display of passion and energy only deepened by decades of experience. For all of the ways in which the world has changed in the past few decades, one thing is still guaranteed: the Blasters play American Music.

Tickets are still available HERE

Opening for the Blasters is Clownvis Presley.  The LA Weekly calls Clownvis Presley “Better than the real Elvis”. A bold statement indeed, but when it comes to quick wit, incredibly catchy songs, and genuine showmanship, it’s safe to say Clownvis has earned the title “The King of Clowns”. From the sideshow at Coney Island to the hottest comedy events in Los Angeles and everything in between, Clownvis is consistently brining his unique blend of comedy, song, and magic to stages across America. Thanks to a controversial appearance on NBC’s America’s Got Talent, Clownvis is now familiar to millions of people around the planet. His phenomenally outrageous audition is a must see (check Youtube).
