Whitney To Play Sold Out Triple Rock Sunday 4/2

Facebooktwittertumblr

Chicago rock band (and Ex- Smith Westerns) Whitney will be making a stop at The Triple Rock on Sunday, April 2nd.  The show is sold out but check First Avenue’s socials on Sunday for last minute tickets.

Although a fairly new band (formed in 2015), Whitney has quickly taken the world by storm with their unique blend of indie-rock meets folk rock meets a little bit of soul. Their music is quirky, funky and sure to make this Sunday one of the best Sunday Funday’s you’ve had in awhile. With their only album “Light Upon The Lake” having come out nearly a year ago, it may be safe to assume that they will be debuting a couple new songs. With majority of this tour sold out (including the Minneapolis date), it’s safe to say that Whitney is the next big thing and should not be slept on. Sure, you may not be able to come to the sold-out show on Sunday but make sure to check these guys out so you are prepared next time they come around!

Whitney will be joined on stage by opening act Helena Deland from Montreal, Quebec. This four piece group is sure to start your night off right with their hauntingly beautiful vocals and striking rhythms.

As stated before, this show is sold out, and has been for quite some time but here are the remaining dates if you want to travel (more than worth it). Please check with the venue for current availability as this whole tour has the potential to sell out!
