flipturn is bringing their “Something More” tour to the main stage at First Avenue on March 24th. The band has previously played at Turf Club and 7th Entry, so you won’t want to miss the action at main room.
This band makes indie music for endless summers with a cinematic sound. flipturn first banded together as teenagers in Florida in 2015, and has since been releasing music. “Heavy Colors” was their first EP in 2017, with two other EPs following later on. Their debut album was released in 2022 under the title “Shadowglow”. With a very nostalgic sound, their latest single release “Everybody Wants To Rule The World” gives us the same feeling as “Don’t You (Forget About Me)”. The band has proved their place within the indie scene, touring with Mt. Joy, Rainbow Kitten Surprise, and Wilderado.
