Chicago up-and-comers Ne-Hi to play 7th Street Entry

Chicago-based quartet Ne-Hi is bringing their tour to Minneapolis, next Saturday 4/15. Ne-Hi is set to play the iconic 7th Street Entry and tickets are only $10 in advance, and $12 at the door. Save the $2 for tallboys and snag your tickets early HERE

Ne-Hi is currently touring in support of their sophomore release Offers.  Following the release of Offers in February, Ne-Hi took their talents south – to SXSW that is, where they received warm reception from a variety of outlets including a nod from NPR. Post-SXSW the Twittersphere has been abuzz with this four-piece, and rightly so. Even the elusive Pitchfork gave Offers a shining review. But don’t just take the blogosphere’s word for it, come check out Ne-Hi for yourself next weekend.

Accolades and buzz aside, what first caught our ear about Ne-Hi is their jangly guitars, dreamy hooks and breezy-feel good lyrics. It’s basement rock with a polished touch. Ne-Hi is inline with the sounds coming out of Chicago we can’t stop obsessing about now (think The Orwells, Twin Peaks, Whitney, The Walters, etc.) with a fresh take all their own. There is a summery, youthful energy to Offers and if the hype is true, it’s sure to be a great live show next weekend.

Ne-Hi will be joined on Saturday by two Minneapolis bands – Finesse and Real Numbers. Come spend your Easter Eve at 7th Street Entry in support of some great Midwest music. And you’ll be able to brag to all your friends you saw Ne-Hi before they played Pitchfork Festival this summer.
