Catch The Mowgli’s And Mainland At Intimate 7th Street Entry Show 2/23

The Mowgli’s are one of those bands where the first time I heard them, I was a fan and they instantly became a staple in my everyday playlist. Their show at 7th Street Entry on Friday, February 23rd is definitely going to be a must see show. With their newest single ‘Real Good Life’ catching on like wild fire, I think it’s very safe to assume that this will be the last time you can catch this great California based group in such an intimate venue.

The band describes the tour perfectly in the following statement:

“We’ll be playing some old favorites that haven’t been heard in a while, as well as some new songs for the first time..and some songs that are very special to us. We want to get back to that feeling of being in a small club, singing along with you in our faces and us in yours. In short we want to feel the love, the sweat and the joy of being together – and an intimate connection with the people who have been part of this journey. We’ll be joined by Mainland for The Real Good Life Tour – we can’t wait to see you all.”

Supporting them will be Mainland, a California band with a killer sound – it’s infectious indie rock with pop sensibilities, and a little post-punk thrown in there too. Think catchy choruses you wanna belt out while driving around with the windows down.

The band met in NYC, bonding over the fact that they were all from California and started making music together. They became a favorite amongst the cool kids here in NYC, frequenting the club circuit and tearing up venues with their live show that boasts an energy that rivals the city that birthed them. They’ve toured the country endlessly, garnered attention from every tastemaker under the sun and just recently released a visual project, “I Found God” – a gorgeous ode to love in all it’s forms that features real life couples-

Tickets are still available but believe me when I say they are selling like hotcakes. Snag yours here before it’s too late!
