American Electronic musician, Steve Aoki released his new album “Kolony” in July of 2017 on the label “Liberator Music”, with this being his fourth album throughout his career. As this album has Aoki collaborating with an assortment of artists there’s really something for everyone. To get listening to Aoki’s album before the show I would check out the lead single, “Night Call”, featuring Migos and Lil Yachty as it’s a song that gets things started.
While speaking of his new album in a press release last year Aoki says, “When I was in the studio working on this project or a song with someone that made it to the album, they brought their own crew, and I’d turn around and be like, this squad is like a colony. It was a lot of energy from people flowing from the studio, and I loved that think tank, that group collaboration, and spirit.”
His US tour promoting the new album will be at The Armory on 2/24. A few tickets remain HERE.
Opening for Aoki will be Desiigner, Quintino, Bad Royale, and Max Styler. I don’t expect tickets to be available much longer as Aoki is known to put on an excellent show -cake or not. The Armory recently reopened as well, and this show is the perfect opportunity to go check out the new venue if you haven’t yet.
