The man, the myth and the internet rap legend known As Yung Gravy a.k.a. Mr. Clean is bringing his quirky take on hip hop back to the Twin Cities. The rapper who hails from just south of the Twin Cities, Rochester MN, has a pair of shows coming up this holiday weekend. He will be playing Friday night April 19th to an all ages crowd and the following night, Saturday April 20th he will do it all again. Yung Gravy doesn’t only make music for you dad, your mother or your sister, Yung Gravy is for the children.
Coming up in the this new era of internet rap and mixtapes, Minnesotas very own Yung Gravy has made a name for himself through a series of viral hits. His most notable of these is his song ‘Mr. Clean’ currently boasts over 34,000,000 views on the official music video. With four other music videos that have multiple millions of views Gravy has been busy since his career started. Between a pair of tours he has managed to release four EPs and a full length mixtape and has even found the time to link up with Atlantas rising star Lil Baby for their joint single ‘Alley Oop.’ A song, as you may have guessed, that is packed with basketball references and some of Gravys trademark punchlines.
