Looking for an amazing heavy show to go to? Get out to The Lyric at Skyway Theatre on September 6th for The Amity Affliction and Silverstein’s co-headlining North American tour!

The trek comes just as fans will have had the summer to digest Silverstein’s brand new album, Misery Made Me, which officially arrived on Friday (May 6). The band issued the songs “Bankrupt” and “It’s Over” last year, then served up the album’s single “Ultraviolet” back in February. The album is available to pre-order here.

Few bands on their 22nd lap around the scene could claim to be in “just getting started” mode as much as SILVERSTEIN. “Misery Made Me” finds the group spring-boarding off the heights they’ve reached over the past handful of years; their latest album (2020’s “A Beautiful Place To Drown”) adding 80 million streams to a mind-numbing career total of 500 million; it collecting a nomination for “Rock Album Of The Year” at the esteemed JUNO Awards.

Since emerging in 2008 with its debut “Severed Ties”, THE AMITY AFFLICTION has served up two ARIA gold-certified albums, “Youngbloods” (2010) and “Chasing Ghosts” (2012),and earned a platinum certification from ARIA for the seminal “Let The Ocean Take Me” (2014). “This Could Be Heartbreak” (2016) marked the band’s second consecutive Top 30 debut on the Billboard 200 and it went gold in Australia, while “Misery” (2018) elevated them to new critical heights and most recently “Everyone Loves You…One You Leave Them” (2020) showed the band returning to their heavier side and saw the group’s total stream tally surpass 460 million and counting.

The Amity Affliction’s most recent album was 2020’s Everyone Loves You … Once You Leave Them, but the group did serve up some more recent music with the late 2021 EP Somewhere Beyond the Blue. Holding Absence issued the stellar outing, The Greatest Mistake of My Life, in 2021, while Unity-TX are touring in support of their Hellway album.

Direct support will be provided by Holding Absence and Unity-TX!
