Coming off of “Nothing More,” their most successful release to date (featured in The 2014 Winter Olympics and NCIS), and “Somewhere in America,” which earned the band a 2016 Independent Music Award, The Alternate Routes are set to unveil their latest release, “Safe Haven.”
“Safe Haven” was self produced by Eric Donnelly, Kurt Leon, and Tim Warren of The Alternate Routes, and mixed by fellow Bridgeport, CT native, Peter Katis (The National, Swell Season). ” ‘Safe Haven’ is definitely a love song, but one that uses real life as its backdrop. Sitting down with someone you love and trying to convince them, and yourself, to keep pushing forward, to face your fears and stay strong is a sentiment that I hope many people can relate to. To me, it is a song about partners,” says guitarist, Eric Donnelly.
