Poptone has been called a “Post-Punk Partridge Family”, and a “side project of a side project”, but each and every review of their live shows calls them one thing: FUN!! Daniel Ash and Kevin Haskins both of Bauhaus, Tones On Tail, and Love and Rockets fame founded the group with Diva Dompé (Haskins’ daughter) in 2017. To round out the family affair they bring along Lola Dompé with her band Automatic, DJ Jake Rudh will be there, and so will be one of my favorite local bands BNLX.
