Party Like It’s 2007– Four Year Strong Bringing Rise Or Die Trying Anniversary Tour To Amsterdam 9/19

Pop-Punkers Four Year Strong are making a stop at Amsterdam Bar & Hall in Saint Paul on Monday, September 19th and to say I’m excited would be an understatement. When I was a teenager wearing too much eyeliner and obsessing over boys that wore too skinny of jeans and seemed to share my obsession for black eyeliner, FYS was a breath of fresh air. Their pop-punk sounds are upbeat and make you want to dance and move around. They have the type of music that you can’t help but smile when you hear it and, when seeing them perform live, that feeling is magnified. The nice thing about this band is their live show never sounds quite like their album. They have an edge to their music that you only get when you see them live and it’s truly unforgettable. This Saint Paul show will be part of their 10 year anniversary tour of “Rise or Die Trying” which just happens to be my favorite album they have ever put out.

Opening up the show will be Seaway, Like Pacific, Grayscale, and Life Lessons. Each of these bands have a different brand of pop-punk music and will keep the night feeling fresh. So grab that eyeliner from your angsty highschool years and the jeans that are far too tight for you– come out and party like it’s 2007!

Tickets are still available here.
