It’s hard to believe that it’s been 10 years since I Set My Friends on Fire’s album “You Can’t Spell Slaughter Without Laughter” came out. Come celebrate and get nostalgic with me on August 9th as they play through that iconic album along with many other hits.

I Set My Friends on Fire (ISMFOF) is an experimental rock group from Miami, Florida. The band was formed in 2007 by Matt Mehana and former member Nabil Moo. The group signed with Epitaph Records before releasing their debut album, You Can’t Spell Slaughter Without Laughter, in 2008. Their second album, Astral Rejection, was released on June 21, 2011. Their third album, Caterpillar Sex, and a fourth album are both scheduled to be released by Tragic Hero in 2017. I Set My Friends on Fire is recognized for their experimental musical style. The group blends elements from a variety of genres including electronica, crunkcore, post-hardcore, metalcore, electronicore, alternative metal, screamo, dance-pop, mathcore, and glitch. AllMusicdescribes the group’s style as “a tornado of musical influences and genres”.

Annisokay will be opening the show. Annisokay is a German post-hardcore band from Halle, Saxony-Anhalt. The band consists of screamer Dave Grunewald, guitarists Christoph Wieczorek and Norbert Rose, as well as bassist Philipp Kretzschmar and drummer Daniel Herrmann. Former members are Torsten Schwan, Sebastian Lohrisch, Simon Sadewasser (all bass), Kay Westphal (drums) and Felix Fröhlich (vocals).

Chicago based 7 Minutes In Heaven will be kicking the night off.
