Shows are coming back and I, for one, am so stoked to get back inside the legendary First Avenue and 7th Street Entry. Are you looking for your first show back in the legendary venue? Consider the show on Thursday, July 8th with Horsegirl, Catbath, and Harlow!

Horsegirl is the Chicago-based noisy rock trio of 17-18-year-olds Penelope Lowenstein (she/her), Nora Cheng (she/her), and Gigi Reece (they/them). Each started playing music at a young age. Lowenstein and Cheng met through a local music program, where they initially bonded over their similar taste in records. After frequenting local shows together, and Reece joining one night, they quickly became friends who fell in love with discovering music, sending each other songs and videos from now-defunct DIY bands and scenes.

Opening up for Horsegirl will be local favorites, Catbath! Catbath, a four-piece rock outfit hailing from Minneapolis, MN, formed in the basement of Travis Franklin and Crystal Stockert’s south side duplex in 2013. The duo began mining the arsenal of songs Travis had been stockpiling. They were eclectic, drawing from disparate genres and eras of rock—from sixties garage pop to grunge to metal. However, the common thread binding them together could not be obscured; the songs were chock-full of undeniable melodies and irrepressible pop hooks.

Another local act, Harlow, will be getting the night started off right so get there early!

Tickets are still available HERE! Doors are at 7 PM with the show starting at 8 PM!
