Girl in Red is finally coming to First Avenue and I couldn’t be more excited. She will be bringing her tour, “Make It Go Quiet” to the Twin Cities in her first visit here. After studying abroad in Norway a few years ago I learned about Girl in Red, or as those close to her know her, Marie Ulven. Having not gotten to see her in her home country, I am so excited to finally be able to. Ulven comes from Norway but creates music which can relate to people around the world and has made a great impact in the LGBTQ+ community as a singer/songwriter.
Ulven is bringing along British singer and songwriter Holly Humberstone who makes music that is both intimate and introspective. This is Holly’s first ever full length U.S. tour and I know Minnesota will immediately become a fan.
