Kelsey Byrne, known as VÉRITÉ, is a pop singer- songwriter who has completely taken the scene by storm. Hailing from Brooklyn, NY, VÉRITÉ may only have one full length out and a couple of EP’s but the amount of talent this woman has is endless. Her music makes you want to get up and dance when you hear it but, when you start to dive into the lyrics and all of the layers of it, you quickly realize just how deep and complicated the music actually is. It’s more than just pop music- it’s a true story and it’s everything that your daily playlist has been missing. VÉRITÉ has quickly risen to the top of the charts and weaseled her way into the hearts of many many fans here in the Twin Cities. What I’m trying to say is that this Tuesday, August 29th show with Verite as the headliner is sold out and has been for some time. That being said, be sure to expect more and more from the buzzworthy artist. I wouldn’t be surprised if she’s selling out the First Avenue Main Room in just a couple of months.
