Fleet Foxes Bring Their Shore Tour to Minneapolis

Seattle indie-folk band Fleet Foxes are on their first tour since 2018. It’s been two years since Shore was released into the world during COVID-19. We have had two summers, winters, falls, and springs to soak in the soundscape. Minneapolis has one of the stages they are set to grace on the 35-date international tour.

The show will be on August 2 at Surly Brewing Festival Field. It will surely be a beautiful evening of music. Opener and Fleet Foxes collaborator Uwade will open. Her lush voice is featured on the first track of Shore. Currently, she only has a handful of singles released, and they are all worth a listen. Most recently, “Do You See The Light Around Me?” was released on Sylvan Esso’s Psychic Hotline label.

If you’ve never experienced Fleet Foxes live, I’d argue that this is one of the perfect settings you could start with. I can’t help but imagine their folk harmonies with the sunset as a backdrop. It’s going to be one to catch, for sure!
