Legendary death metal band Dying Fetus will be performing at The Skyway Theatre on Thursday, March 22nd as the headliner of a truly impressive line-up of great heavy bands.
Dying Fetus once again raises the bar of sonic extremity with their 8th studio album and first new material in over 5 years, Wrong One To F With. The seasoned veterans manage to further stretch their creative and technical boundaries across 10 complex tracks of pulverizing death metal, filled with more dynamic intricacies, brutal breakdowns and varied vocal patterns than ever before. Now over 25 years into their distinguished career, Dying Fetus cement their legacy with Wrong One To F With and uphold their position as the most dominant force in death metal today.
Joining Dying Fetus will be Thy Art Is Murder- an Australian band that always brings the energy with them when touring around the states. Combining classic and authentic death metal elements that invoke the renegade, spirit-crushing, monstrosity of early Morbid Angel, Cannibal Corpse, and Decapitated with the precision rhythmic assault of Meshuggah and the breakdown-infused bounce of Black Dahlia Murder, Thy Art is Murder have redefined a once cast aside and maligned subgenre, proudly reenergizing and representing the best in extremity.
Not convinced of how amazing this show is yet? Let’s add Enterprise Earth, Rivers of Nihil and Sanction to the bill. Each of these three opening acts bring something different to the table when it comes to their music and style but they all bring a jaw dropping amount of energy that makes this show a must see.
So pick the darkest of your black t-shirts and strap on the sturdiest of boots, this is going to be one hell of a show where nobody is left standing still.
Tickets are still available here.
