The Kooks are bringing their ‘Inside In / Inside Out’ Tour to The Fillmore in Minneapolis on March 16th!
The Kooks released Inside In/Inside Out in January 2006. It was an immediate hit, landing the No.2 spot in the UK Albums Chart for two weeks. The band itself had only formed a year prior to the recording of the album. (Their name came from the group’s mutual admiration for Hunky Dory-era Bowie.) In 2005, they recorded their first demo, focused on landing gigs. But after being scouted at the Brighton Free Butt Festival, they quickly signed to Virgin and recorded their debut album.
“We’re gonna play the whole record,” frontman Luke Pritchard explained in a video on social media. “We’re delighted to announce we’re gonna be joined by our friends The Vaccines. It’s going to be a lot of fun.”
The Kooks’ sixth and most recent studio effort, ’10 Tracks To Echo In The Dark’, came out in July 2022.
