Joey Valence & Brae will be making a stop at The 7th Street Entry on Tuesday, January 30th for a show and trust me when I say you want to be there!

In less than two years since their alleged meeting at a State College, PA Red Lobster, alternative punk-rap duo Joey Valence and Brae have taken their genre-breaking and era-bending sound from the Penn State University dorms to venues, festivals, and homes around the world. Influenced by the sounds and cultures of hardcore punk, hip-hop, and country music, JVB is energetic, clever, and carefree, lyrically weaving their way through pop-culture and counter-culture, skate shops and anime, BMX, and street art. Fueled by their many millions of followers across TikTok, YouTube, and Instagram and hits such as “Double Jump” and “Punk Tactics,” — the former has often been referred to as “the best performance in the history of Ellen,” while the latter has been streamed more than 50 million times — JVB have amassed a global fanbase of both misfit teens and nostalgic adults, selling out shows across North America and Europe and performing at some of the world’s biggest music festivals (including Lollapalooza, Reading & Leeds, Life is Beautiful and Riot Fest). The boys’ goal is to one day unite the world in peace and love, but in the meantime, they’ll be busy acquiring the largest Pokémon card collection of all time and releasing their debut album, Punk Tactics, later this summer.

SLOE JACK will be opening up the show. Jack Garritty, known professionally as SLOE JACK, is an Australian singer, songwriter and music producer. Growing up in a small country town in Australia, Jack was brought up in a tough reality of neglect, and torment. After being pulled out of school at 15, SLOE JACK found purpose in music production. Using nothing but an old laptop, he began sampling sounds and creating music that would become his signature sound. Starting with dubstep, he eventually evolved into a blend of overdriven rock tones, sharp rhythms, and cutting-edge electronic production that defies genre classification. His music is an infernal force, shaped by the torment and struggle that plagued his youth. Through sheer grit and determination, SLOE JACK has risen up as a voice for the voiceless. His music is a battle cry for the forgotten and the downtrodden.
