I know it’s hard to believe but it has been 20 years since COLD released their ‘Year of the Spider’ album and they will be stopping by the 7th Street Entry in Minneapolis on May 23rd to celebrate it.

You cannot stop The Things We Can’t Stop – COLD are back with the alternative rock album of the year! With two gold albums and over one million records sold in the US alone, Jacksonville, Florida’s COLD are amongst the most relevant and creatively soaring alternative rock artists of our time. 13 Ways To Bleed On Stage (2000), Year Of The Spider (2003), A Different Kind Of Pain (2005) and Superfiction (2011) are true milestones of a unique career. And The Things We Can’t Stop Pursues: With the anti-bullying anthem ‘Shine‘, for example. Or the driving, hard grooving force that is ‘Without You‘. Or the unforgettable beautiful ‘Quiet Now‘. The Things We Can’t Stop is a wonderfully varied and gripping entry in the bands discography – and one that shimmers in timeless colors.

Local favorites Divide The Fall will be direct support for COLD. Divide The Fall is a four-piece independent rock band hailing from Minneapolis, Minnesota. The band’s sound consists of blending high-energy modern hard rock with metalcore and post-hardcore influences. For fans of Breaking Benjamin, I Prevail, and Bring Me The Horizon. From their inception the band has set out to create songs that inspire people in a dark place; having written about their own personal experiences with mental illness, suicide, and drug addiction while also confronting topics like racial inequality and social divisiveness.

Get there early so you don’t miss Awake for Days or Sygnal to Noise who are also opening the show.
