I was lucky enough to catch AFI at When We Were Young in Vegas last weekend and can tell you, without a doubt, that you have to go catch them at The Fillmore on November 16th! They have such an amazing live show that just has to be seen to believe!
After a reschedule due to the pandemic, AFI will finally be hitting the road in support of their new album, ‘Bodies’. The band has steadily offered previews of the album throughout 2021, with the songs “Twisted Tongues,” “Escape From Los Angeles,” “Looking Tragic,” “Begging for Trouble,” “Dulceria,” “Far Too Near” and “Tied to a Tree” all arriving prior to the record’s June 11 release.
AFI is comprised of Davey Havok, Hunter Burgan, Jade Puget and Adam Carson, and was originally formed as a hardcore punk band in 1991 in Ukiah, CA. The band steadily built their hardcore fan base through the early years, until they crossed over into mainstream popularity with their breakthrough album, Sing the Sorrow. In 2003, the album went platinum, and received heavy airplay across radio stations and MTV.
