Often referred to as a true female powerhouse,Wisconsin-born singer-songwriter Laurel Hay is about to unleash her much anticipated debut album called Oh, The Places I’d Go.With roots in many different musical genres, “Oh, The Places I’d Go” lends itself to what producer Eric Blomquist calls “Folksy, Rocksy, Americana”. Laurel’s bright vocals and playful lyrics bring a light and pleasing new sound to listeners. Laurel’s lovely vocals, captivating sound (along with some pipes) really speak for themselves. Laurel sound is a mix of indie/pop/country/bluegrass. The new release is smartly composed with witty down home lyrics. Along with other tracks such as her pop songs Great Big World & Dear Moon, she has included her country songs Vixen, Until The Cows Come Home and Lucky. The CD Release performance will be a great way to start off the New Years weekend.
