XIII Arrows leans heavily into the 1970’s influences on their latest music video. From the psychedelic visuals to the fringed coats – the video for ‘Bad Little Habit’ is something straight out of another decade. It’s a song you’d imagine your parents crushing kegs to in college. The chorus is one that is going to find its way stuck in head for days to come – hooky and catchy in all the right ways. The Minneapolis four-piece has been making music and playing shows steadily around the Twin Cities for the past couple years but their sound continues to evolve and ‘Bad Little Habit’ is no exception. While the quartet has always drawn on both musical and visual influences from the past – this video seems to be ushering in yet another era of XIII Arrows – one that is heavy bluesy mixed with anthemic rock.

In a sea of what can feel like so many similar bands in the Twin Cities – XIII Arrows continues to rise to the top as something totally unique and refreshing. ‘Bad Little Habit’ is due out everywhere Tuesday, 7/2 but is dropping exclusively on Twin Cities Media – Monday July 1st.
