Dermot Kennedy hit the big time with his debut album Without Fear that came out in 2019. It quickly climbed the charts and turned heads instantly (including my own). This Irish singer-songwriter has an absolutely stunning voice and undeniable songwriting talent. He has been on my list to catch live for some time now so I am beyond excited to get a chance in just a couple of weeks. In November 2020, Dermot released Without Fear: The Complete Edition including a selection of live, re-worked versions of tracks from the No. 1 album along with his single “Giants.” The Brit Award-nominated artist has since surpassed 2 billion streams across platforms globally and boasts moving TV performances on Jimmy Kimmel Live, The Late Show with Stephen Colbert, TODAY, and The Ellen Show. Throughout the pandemic, Dermot continued to engage with his fans via virtual concerts. In July 2020, his unique pay-per-view performance, ‘Some Summer Night’, streamed live from The Natural History Museum in London. The event, which featured a guest appearance from actor Paul Mescal from the BBC show Normal People, sold over 30,000 tickets making it one of the biggest selling concerts of its type across America and Europe.
