The St. Paul Chamber Orchestra’s Liquid Music Series will bring Visionary maximalist composer Anna Meredith to Aria on Wednesday 2/7. Tickets are available HERE. She will also give a performance at the Weitz Center for Creativity in Northfield on February 9th. She’s stopping in select cities this January and February, marking her second-ever US tour dates; her first wildly-successful run was in spring 2017, when she made heads turn at SXSW. NPR Music’s Bob Boilen hailed Meredith as “the best artist I’ve seen at #sxsw2017 and one of the most creative bands I’ve seen in years.” Jon Pareles of the New York Times described her set as “…sheer exhilaration… grins spread unstoppably around the club.”
