Tinashe’s stop at The Fillmore in Minneapolis on her Match My Freak tour was nothing short of electrifying. From the moment she stepped on stage, it was clear that she wasn’t just performing; she was commanding the room with the kind of energy that makes you want to get up and dance, no matter where you’re sitting.

It  was made even better by her opener, Raveena. The indie R&B artist set the tone with a smooth, soulful performance that perfectly complemented Tinashe’s high-energy set later on. Raveena’s soft, dreamy vocals and chill yet captivating stage presence had the crowd locked in from the jump.

The setlist was a perfect mix of her biggest hits—like “2 On” and “All Hands On Deck”—and new tracks from BB/ANG3L, which have that signature Tinashe vibe: catchy, experimental, and always slick. Her voice sounded crystal clear, and she was a true performer, combining smooth vocals with sharp choreography that had the crowd in awe.

You could tell she was loving every second of it, engaging with the audience and giving us that raw, magnetic energy that makes her stand out in a sea of pop stars.

The visuals were on point, too. The stage design was sleek, with flashing lights and a screen showing bold, abstract visuals that matched the futuristic feel of her music. The dancers were just as much a part of the show as Tinashe herself, bringing high-energy routines to every song, making the performance feel like a full-on production.

What stood out most about Tinashe’s performance was how effortlessly she blended R&B, pop, and hip-hop influences. Whether she was singing a slow jam or hyping up the crowd with an upbeat track, she had everyone in the crowd vibing along. The crowd was loving it, and by the time she ended her set, you could feel the whole venue buzzing with excitement.

Overall, Tinashe delivered an unforgettable show that proved why she’s one of the most exciting artists out there right now!
