Future Islands will be making a stop at the beautiful Palace Theater in Saint Paul on June 29th.
Future Islands have been on a tear in the 20s. The four piece synth-pop powerhouse released As Long As You Are back in 2020 and then as soon as they were able toured on that one relentlessly. It’s why now that it’s 4 years later and they released People Who Aren’t There Anymore back in January that it feels as though just a short year or two ago that As… was dropped.
As it was with that album though, they’re wasting no time taking to the road to showcase the new material. They’re going on a short run in North America then in Europe, and their Minnesotan stop will see them swing through the lovely Palace Theatre (a familiar venue for them, though last year saw them with a fantastic set in First Avenue).
