San Francisco metal group Deafheaven will be making a stop at The Fine Line in Minneapolis on Monday, March 20th. Having spent majority of last year sharing stages with groups such as Ghost, Carcass, and Slipknot, Deafheaven will be headlining this month long tour. Deafheaven’s music is a unique blend of metal, death metal, shoegaze, post-rock and far too many other genres to mix. Their live shows are a great display of power and beauty and they never lack energy. Their latest album “New Bermuda” came out in 2015 but I’ve seen some rumors that they are playing around with some new songs on this tour!
Supporting Deafheaven will be This Will Destroy You (an instrumental post rock group from Texas) and Emma Ruth Rundle (a singer-songwriter from California). With such a unique line-up, this is a “can not miss show” and is sure to make your Monday feel like anything but a Monday.
