Clear your schedule for October 6th! In a double bill for the ages, Brittany Howard and Michael Kiwanuka are teaming up for a fall tour and making a stop at Palace Theatre in St. Paul! Honestly, this is a dream lineup and it should not be missed!
Brittany Howard’s latest effort What Now is fresh and deep. She crosses genres and creates a sonic journey for the listener. In my opinion, there will be Grammy attention on it come nomination time! It will be an absolute treat to hear these songs live.
Michael Kiwanuka’s Small Changes is the follow-up to his 2019 Mercury Prize-winning album. It’s not out until November, though, so this is a big opportunity for fans to hear what he’s been cooking up for five years. We are ready for the new era!
If you’re like me, you’ve never had the privilege of seeing either of these artists live. I’m extra excited to see what this tour is like. Both artists have voices that seem to transcend time. Experiencing this in the “smallest big room” in town will be a night to remember!
