The First Avenue Mainroom is going to heat up on 5/7 when Irish punk band Fontaines D.C. make their way back to us.

Now that the experts have left, let’s get down to the lore and legend of Fontaines D.C.
They just won the “Best Band in the World” award at the NME Awards. Their fans are rabid and will travel far and wide for this band. They like to have fun. It’s no wonder the band has been playing larger venues on this tour with openers Just Mustard. Their new album Skinty Fia is due out this Friday and it’s going to be so exciting to hear these new songs live.
