One of the shows I have been looking forward to the most this summer will be at the State Theatre in a couple of weeks. The 2017 Retro Futura tour brings some of the biggest names of 80s music (oh, and it’s the GOOD kind of 80s music) to Minneapolis on 8/17. Tickets are still available HERE.
The show will feature
Howard Jones
The English Beat
Modern English
Men Without Hats
Paul Young
Katrina (from Katrina & The Waves)
I have seen several of the artists live recently, and fans will be in for a great show. There’s a reason why songs like “Safety Dance”, “Walking on Sunshine”, and “Mirror in the Bathroom” are still instantly familiar to generations. Yes, the hair may be less spiky than it was in their heyday, but these performers will be a blast to see live.
