Texas blues legend Jimmie Vaughan is stopping in at The Dakota Monday, October 25. It’s no surprise that the show is SOLD OUT. However, it’s worth your time and effort to keep checking back since tickets sometimes do get released. Details can be found HERE.
Blues masters come in waves. And truth be told there aren’t as many of them as there used to be. We can take it all the way back to Robert Johnson and Billie Holiday. The British Invasion brought the likes of Muddy Waters, Howlin’ Wolf and BB King to our collective consciousness. That bunch is all gone and the generation that gave us the Vaughan brothers, Buddy Guy and Walter Trout are now acknowledged masters of the craft.
Expect Vaughan to cover the gamut on this night. He recently released a limited edition box set chronicling his entire career from Fabulous Thunderbirds to the present in music and photos.
