Turns out Atmosphere will be the Grand Opening of the newly renovated Palace Theatre in St. Paul. First Avenue and Jam Productions just announced the event for Friday March 10. Tickets will be available starting Thursday 1/19 through First Avenue ticket outlets and their website.
Atmosphere’s Freshwater Fly Fisherman Tour is currently wrapping up dates on the North American run. March will see the Minnesota rap group returning stateside from a slew of shows around Australia and New Zealand.
“It’s with a lot of excitement that we’re announcing the grand opening concert at the Palace Theatre with Atmosphere. We have such a history with Atmosphere and the Rhymesayers family, it felt like the best way to kick-off a very exciting year in downtown St. Paul,” says First Avenue and Palace Theatre General Manager Nate Kranz.
First Avenue and Jam Productions of Chicago will manage the booking and operations of the Palace Theatre. Two previously announced shows, Regina Spektor on March 26, and The xx on April 28 were met with great enthusiasm by fans. Look for more announcements at the Palace Theatre in the near future.
