Lauren Mayberry to Play Fine Line on 2/3

Lauren Mayberry, most well known as the frontwoman for the electronic pop band CHVRCHES, released her solo debut “Vicious Creature” at the end of 2024 and will be hitting the road to support the album at the end of January, kicking off in San Diego on the 28th. Mayberry will make a stop in the Twin Cities on February 3rd at Fine Line, bringing a wave of new material from “Vicious Creature” to life on stage.

Mayberry released her debut solo single, “Change Shapes,” in the spring of 2024, to give listeners a taste of her new material, before releasing a handful of other singles (“Shame,” “Are You Awake?,” and “Something in the Air”) throughout the year, building anticipation for the release of the full length album. Drawing inspiration from an array of sources, including her personal life, perspectives on sexuality and empowerment, formative musical inspirations, and general life experience, Mayberry created an ambitious solo debut that is sure to be a cathartic experience on stage.
