Coming Soon: The Linda Lindas to Rock Fine Line.
It’s not in your head. The Linda Lindas return to Minneapolis for a Fine Line concert on April 12th.
Last year, The Linda Lindas released their acclaimed new album, No Obligation, via Epitaph. On their second full-length album, The Linda Lindas further advanced their unironic, joyful, and exciting trajectory of mashing up L.A. punk with post punk, garage rock, power pop, new wave and rock en español. The album had been in the works for the last two years whenever the band weren’t at school or touring and featured singles “All In My Head,” “Yo Me Estreso (feat. Weird Al Yankovic),” “No Obligation” and “Nothing Would Change”.
Since going viral with their LA Public Library performance of their song “Racist, Sexist, Boy” and their episode of Tiny Desk that propelled them into stardom, the world has watched these four musicians scream about injustice, sing about growing up and exhibit the kind of altruism that is so meaningful to the punk scene.
A fitting opener for the evening is Pinkshift, a heavy, vehemently unapologetic punk band whose songs rail against prejudice and oppression while also examining in great depth the human condition.
