Their 12th studio album Blood Dynasty is ready to thrill and destroy you. “We’re not trying to reinvent the wheel. We’re just writing the best music we can”, humbly says Michael Amott, founding member, and Swedish guitar god. The album was also recorded in Sweden, produced by Jens Bogren, who also had their talented hand in production of 2017’s Will To Power. Even though they are not the underground band of yesteryear, true dedication to their fans and music is as fresh as any fledgling band or niche underdog group. “Growing up and playing my guitar and joining my first bands, I wasn’t thinking about mainstream acceptance at all. I was trying to be a better musician, trying to play with better musicians, and having the dedication to go to shows and support the underground.”
Lead singer Alyssa White-Gluz, who has been with the band since 2014, is a powerhouse talent with vocals ready to rattle your puny human skull. The Montreal Canadian is equally eviscerating whether utilizing her epic growls or goddess level crisp clean vocals. Can’t wait for this show, excited to see you there!
