An Electric Evening with Naked Giants at 7th Street Entry

The Naked Giants brought electric energy this evening to 7th Street Entry. The room was filled with local fans buzzing with excitement. It felt like all your neighborhood best friends came out for an intimate evening of great music.

The evening’s tone was spry, lively, and passionate. You can tell that this group absolutely loves doing what they do together. The band also set the precedence that this was a safe, respectful, and open space for everyone to enjoy opening up some vulnerability and candidness with attendees. Naked Giants have been playing together for over 10 years and seeing them connect in flow on stage is truly inspiring to all kinds of artists and musicians alike. Their passion is genuine and contagious; I was floored by their collective talent and individual mastery of their instruments. Their incredible performance is still ringing in Minneapolis’s ears!

Or should I say, “The Yap’s” ears, as drummer, Henry LaVallee, coined this new nickname for the beloved city of the midwest!

We wish this bunch a great rest of their all-American tour! Cheers!

The opening band, Girl and Girl, jumpstarted the energetic evening with their electric rock sound and vivacious stage presence. Their music was quick to grab everyone's gaze, as well as, their hips! Before you knew it, they had the crowd head banging and singing along with them. This four-piece band is a genuine, exceptional gem from Brisbane, Australia and we were glad to see them stop into town!
