Australian singer/songwriter Ziggy Alberts is bringing his beachside folk sound to Minneapolis on September 17th at the Fine Line. Alberts is an independent artist who has been able to grow his fanbase all across the world. His music encapsulates the human experiences that everyone relates to and takes you on his journeys while also allowing for you to reflect on your own.
Last year was the 10 year anniversary of his first album, Made of Water, and Albert’s discography has continued to expand throughout the years. All of Albert’s work has been released through his independent label, Commonfolk Records, and he has even released writing work through his publishing label, Commonfolk Publishing. His most recent singles, “Outlaw” and “New Love”, both focus on the singer’s personal growth in a constantly changing world.
Having seen the “Laps Around the Sun” singer back in 2019, his writing on the natural world and the fact that we need to take care of it really stuck with me. The music is what you’d want to be playing as you head up to the North Shore and spend some time in with “Four Feet in the Forest” (go stream Ziggy ;))
His New Love World Tour is going to be a great start to getting into those fall feels and tickets are still available here!
