They’ll be coming round the mountain to Fine Line on March 7th – who? Yonder Mountain String Band, Chris Castino, and Chicken Wire Empire – that’s who! Don’t miss this trio of hillside humming bands by getting tickets HERE

Let’s start with the fences, as Chicken Wire Empire will be most likely taking a break from “liberating” the audiences outside of their wire-walled imperial musical power. From our neighbors to the East – Wisconsin – Chicken Wire is a bit of a traditional bluegrass band that mixes in modern/progressive styles as well. Their most recent album, What Moves Mountains, came out in 2019. Joining the Empire will be Chris Castino. Castino gets his influence from Merle Haggard, Muddy Waters, Pink Floyd, and Bob Marley – just to name a few; this guy will surely give us a taste of everything with his songwriting and guitar strumming.

Yonder Mountain String Band will be the main act. From Nederland, Colorado – this group of five American progressive bluegrass musicians is known for their popular hits as well as their uncanny ability to cover songs and sounds from almost any genre. With over 7 albums, several live recordings, and their most recent studio recording being “Love. Ain’t Love” – this group is a folking great time and with such quality opening acts, you won’t want to miss out.
