Wrestlepalooza is one of those events that I always look forward to. With high-flying wrestling moves, amazing music, and all the PBR your heart desires– it’s an event that’s talked about for weeks after. Wrestlepalooza XIII will be at First Avenue on Saturday, June 2nd and if you didn’t get tickets before it sold out, I highly suggest you start scouring the secondary markets for one. Wrestlepalooza is presented by F1rst Wrestling. “We here at F1RST WRESTLING intend to bring Pro Wrestling to a new level in Minnesota. We won’t make outlandish claims or silly promises about changing Pro Wrestling as you see it. What we will promise, is to give you the fans of MN wrestling the best possible show we can each and every night!” It truly is a night that you won’t forget and something that you will be hooked on even if you’re not a huge wrestling fan.
Musical guest for this one will be a personal favorite of mine- Red City Radio. It’s possible that you haven’t heard of Red City Radio, so maybe a “band bio” is in order. We bring that point up because this punk band from the Heartland has flourished and grown in popularity without having any real help from the usual suspects. They’ve never been embraced by the hip websites, they’ve never had a big record label, and they don’t have a fancy booking agent in NYC. None of that shit, just four good friends from Oklahoma City that keep getting better at writing songs and keep playing bigger and bigger shows. Yeah sure, we’ll write you a band bio. RCR is all about inclusion, so it’s never too late to get on board and come along for the ride.
Both Queenie Von Curves and Joy Coy will be taking the ring as the burlesque dancers of the night.
As mentioned, this show is sold out and has been for some time.
