Summer is finally here and in full swing. If you are anything like me, you’ve saved a few extra bucks from the yearly hibernation that is winter. What to do with the spending cash you ask? Worry no more as Wet is coming to The Varsity Theater in Minneapolis Saturday May 26! This show is sure to be a night of dancing, great music and even better memories. Tickets start at $25 and are still available HERE.
Wet derives from Brooklyn, New York. Kelly Zutrau (vocals) and Joe Valle (production) team up to bring a new sound to their music. With ballads such as “Reason” and records born from the path the duo has taken, their unreleased sophomore album “Still Run” (due out July 13, 2018) features more forceful vocals with poetic lyrics that will connect listeners to them. Wet has overcome several obstacles in their way but persisted nevertheless. “There were a lot of challenges and a lot of changes, there were some many reasons to not make music together anymore.” Kelly explained, “But something made us keep coming back to it.”
Joining Wet on tour is Minneapolis’s Cheap Fantasy. This hometown group have been making waves with four shows in the bag so far this year.
