Welcome to Night Vale is a radio-style podcast featuring community news for the desert town on Night Vale, where spooky, mysterious, and inexplicable things always seem to be happening. Whether the Glow Cloud is wreaking havoc with it’s strange, low, whistling sound or there’s something going on with the Shape in Grove Park that no one Acknowledges or Speaks about, host Cecil Palmer is always there to inform the citizens of Night Vale of the latest happenings. There’s a rivalry with neighboring town Desert Bluffs and all of the surreal humor you could dream of. During the weather segment of the show there’s a featured musical guest who showcases their talents to distract from the confusion that is Night Vale. Many Minneapolis natives, Doomtree, Dessa, and Aby Wolf to name a few, have performed during the weather in the past.
Cecil will be the host when Night Vale comes through Minnesota, as usual, and Erin McKeown will be providing the weather segment entertainment.
