Wallows will be bringing their highly anticipated ‘Tell Me That It’s Over’ tour to The Palace Theatre on Wednesday, June 29th!
Wallows, the Los Angeles-based trio of Dylan Minnette, Braeden Lemasters, and Cole Preston, released their acclaimed Atlantic Records debut album, Nothing Happens, in 2019. Produced by GRAMMY® Award-winner John Congleton (St. Vincent, Alvvays, Future Islands) who also produced the band’s 2018 EP Spring, the album quickly became one of the most-streamed debut albums by any band in 2019 and features the breakthrough platinum single “Are You Bored Yet? (featuring Clairo),” which has surpassed 602M global streams. 2020 saw Wallows release “OK,” a song that took on a new meaning during the pandemic, and their quarantine-made EP, Remote, as well as being named MTV’s PUSH Artist of the Month for September. Wallows return in 2021 with brand new single “I Don’t Want to Talk” – a first taste of their collaboration with producer Ariel Rechtshaid (Vampire Weekend, Haim, Adele) that’s been in the works over the past year.
spill tab will be opening the show. Singer songwriter, multi-instrumentalist, producer, part-time tattoo artist, full-time animal lover, and oatmilk connoisseur spill tab a.k.a. Claire Chicha grabs disparate feelings, sounds, tones, and textures and pieces them together in a patchwork of lo-fi alternative pop bliss sung mostly in English and sometimes in French. Working with chief collaborator and production partner marinelli, the Bangkok-born and Los Angeles-based French-Korean songstress launched spill tab in 2018.
spill tab’s two EPs Oatmilk (Dec 2020) and Bonnie (Dec 2021) have amassed over 30 million combined streams to date. In the past year alone, spill tab has graced the covers of various DSP playlists including Lorem (Spotify US) / The Indie List (Spotify UK) / softly (Spotify Australia) / Superbloom (Apple US) amongst others, and has achieved international radio support from Radio 1, Alt Nation Sirius, Nova France, Triple J, and more.
