California band Valley Queen started a bit like a movie script. Girl moves to LA, almost gives up and returns home, meets guy and musical magic ensues……
Valley Queen’s front woman Natalie Carol’s voice has garnered a lot of interest leading up to a Tiny Desk Concert. She leads a band reminiscent of Fleetwood Mac and My Morning jacket with lead vocals evocative of Florence Welch. Their sound brings to mind the soul of Motown and the power of southern rock.
They are working on their debut album and will be at the Entry on Sunday 8/28. Tickets are still available HERE
