Singer/songwriter makes her Twin Cities debut this Friday at 7th Street Entry.  Doors at 8pm.  While new to many here in the US she has been making some serious waves across the pond.  Tickets are available HERE.

Cooking Vinyl artist Spraggan broke out in a big way as a live finalist on The X Factor back in 2012.  She’s been continuing to gain traction and write great songs since.  Her latest release I Hope You Don’t Mind Me Writing marks her fourth consecutive trip onto the UK charts.  She has appeared on prestigious stages including Glastonbury, The Isle of Wight and earlier this year as a featured showcase at SXSW in Austin.

Her writing covers the waterfront from self deprecating wit to folk, pop and hip hop.  Have guitar will travel.  She’s been playing since the age of ten and has commented that the instrument has become an appendage she could not imagine performing without.

Spraggan continues to tour extensively in the UK, this time around in a solo acoustic character.  Her first time North American tour is comprised of 17 dates, from coast to coast throughout the month of September.

Supporting Lucy Spraggan is one of the Twin Cities’ intriguing new songwriters Colin Campbell, front man for The Shackletons whose song Minnesota Girls was picked #3 in the most recent City Pages Best Of edition.

Opening the bill will be Jordan Carr another local musician working without his band The Boys.

If your thing is talented songwriters with a guitar, The Entry will be the place to be.
