Bringing the brutality and spooks to the Twin Cities for almost three decades now, Impaler is a Minnesota horror rock band from the Twin Cities. Impaler celebrated their 31st year of Shock Rock in 2014, releasing their 12th album, 30 Years & Rising, the previous year. The band formed in the spring of 1983 with founding members Bill Lindsey (vocals), Michael James Torok (guitar), “Commander” Court Hawley (bass), Robert “Meaty Bob” Johnson (drums), and Mike Senn (guitar). Bill Lindsey is the sole continuing member of Impaler, keeping the band alive for more than 30 years.

Kublai Khan are an American thrash metal band from Minneapolis, Minnesota formed in 1984, disbanded in 1988, and reunited in 2003. They have been thriving in the local scene, and show no signs of slowing down. God Came From Space is another Minnesota metal band, offering soaring dual guitar solos, a pounding rhythm section and thoughtful and sometimes cryptic lyrics, with a cautious disdain for the redundant and cliche. VVolf Mask is heavy music from Minneapolis, featuring Palky, Mitch Tyranny, and David Murder.
