Toby Keith’s Bar & Grill (St. Louis Park) is always a great venue to catch country artists (and even a little food & beverage as well). However, Wednesday evening, Toby Keith’s was the place to be for Todd Hurst EP release concert. The much anticipated EP “Doin’ All the Wrong Things Right” was recorded in Nashville and contains five songs.
To start the night off right, The Plott Hounds played a scaled back acoustic set. They may have scaled back for the evening, but this did not stop their enthusiastic set. With brilliant execution, Noah Bodner, Ansley McAllister, and Josh Braun delivered! The trio even played a new unreleased song, “Living Free or Dying To Try”. If you weren’t there, you truly missed an incredible song.

With guest warmed up, Todd Hurst took the stage with the song “Wrong Things Right”. This song the mood for his set which was very impressive. Todd’s music is very reflective of influences from Garth Brooks, Bob Seger, and even a bit of George Strait. The energy of the band was great and Todd’s interaction with the crowd was top notch. He ended the set with his hit song, “Nineteen”, which is currently available on iTunes and on the EP.
