Who are you going to see September 6th at the Xcel Energy Center? The Who that’s who. Since the 1960’s this iconic rock band has been cranking out hits and cultivating classics. Starting as a “Mod” band they struck gold with songs like “I Can’t Explain”, “My Generation”, “The Kids are Alright” and “I Can See For Miles”. However, for lead songwriter, Pete Townshend, being a hit machine wasn’t enough so he created the first rock opera “Tommy”. The Opera held classics such as “Pinball Wizard” and “See Me, Feel Me”. Townshend then took the band even further creating what is known as one of the best rock albums of all time “Who’s Next”. The album only grew their popularity and carried the songs “Won’t Get Fooled Again” and “Baba O’Rielly” . These songs would become The Who’s anthems from years to come. Now, the band maybe a little older and have a few more members but they still push the boundaries every show and prove they can still rock. With Roger Daultry’s renewed voice and screams and Pete Townshends windmills this will be a show you do not want to miss.

Opening for The Who is the heavy rock and blues band, Reignwolf. The Seattle based group was formed in 2012 and have released one full length album and a handful of singles in that time. The album “Hear Me Out” has been receiving high praise, enough for to get them to open for The Who. Leader of the trio, Jordan Cook, has guitar licks out of this world and wows every crowd he steps in front of.
