Suzie, whose sound is cocktail blend of glam rock, psychedelic, and lo-fi has played a slew of shows around the Twin Cities and is gearing up to once again take their talents on the road. The Suzie Tour includes stops in Sioux Falls, New York City and Chicago, among other. Those unfamiliar with Suzie may recognize frontman Mark Ritsema from his days in Night Moves, another great act hailing from right here in the Twin Cities. For those who haven’t seen Suzie live, there is something infectious about Suzie’s lives shows that really ought to be witnessed live. Suzie recently released the 80s inspired, dream-pop soaked album Chardonnay, while also gearing up for the release of their latest album Pressure due out later this year. Suzie is self-proclaimed “BedroomGlitterGlam,” and “whatever you want it to be.” There is never a shortage of ambiguity from Suzie, but that’s what always keeps us interested to see what magic they turn out next.
