Minneapolis’ The River High has came together for a special event back in 2012 and something clicked. They have been playing ever since and their new album “Blood & Darkness” dropped back in January. The River High enjoyed local radio play, and gained a following playing venues across the Twin Cities. With Joe Masanz (bass), Jason Anderson (drums), Justin Law (guitar and vocals), and Rena Rasmussen (vocals), The River High built their new album on riffs and melody. Law and Rasmussen’s vocals layer into one, and the guitar and bass banter. Listen for alt rock, classic rock, and pop influences underneath catchy lyrics on Blood & Darkness.
Their next show will be at O’Garas in St. Paul on Friday 3/23 with Sawyer’s Dream and Small Town. There is a $ 10 cover, and it’s a great way to support local music.
